Redefining the experience of feeding babies with less worry and more confidence.

nice to meet you!
Hi mama, I’m Danielle!
As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, I’ve worked with many moms who feel exactly like you — overwhelmed, confused, and unsure if they are doing things “right.” Feeding your baby can feel like a constant puzzle, especially when the advice is conflicting and support feels out of reach. You’ve been told everything looks “fine” but deep down, you know something is off.
You’re exhausted from late night googling, trying to troubleshoot latching issues, supply worries, or a fussy baby who still seems hungry. You’ve tried all the tips and tricks but the questions still keep piling up. You shouldn’t have to go through this alone.
That’s where I come in.
1:1 Lactation support
Feeding your baby can be tough, you deserve support.
Have all of your infant feeding questions answered—whether it’s breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, or starting solids—so you can feel confident, empowered, and thrive as a new parent!

How does it work?
Step 1: Book your consult
When you’re ready for 1:1 feeding support, head to my calendar and choose a time and day that works best for you. You can book an infant feeding consult or a prenatal lactation prep consult depending on where you are in your feeding journey. Please reach out to me via email at hello@lactationwithdanielle.com if you can’t find a day or time on my schedule that works. Payment is due at the time of booking.
step 2: Fill out your intake form
After booking you will receive an intake form to complete and an invitation to sign up for your client portal. This portal will be on an app called Practice Better. It is completely free for you as my client. It’s helpful to download the app to your phone with notifications turned on so you don’t miss anything! Your intake form will help me to learn more about you and your specific situation so that I can offer you the best personalized support.
step 3: MEET VIA ZOOM
We will meet for your consult from the comfort of your own home over Zoom. You’ll also receive secure messaging access through the client portal for any questions or updates between follow-ups.

Whether you're weaning from breast, bottle, or pump—get step-by-step guidance to make the process gentle and supported for both you and baby. -
To help you get the most out of your 1:1 feeding consult, here’s how to prepare:
1. Find a Quiet, Comfortable Space
Choose a calm spot in your home with good lighting (ideally near a window or lamp) where you can sit comfortably with your baby. A couch, bed, or nursing chair works great!2. Bring Your Baby Ready to Feed (if possible)
If timing works out, try to schedule your consult around a usual feeding time. This allows me to observe a feeding, assess latch, and guide you in real time.
Don’t stress if baby isn’t hungry—we’ll still go over everything you need!3. Gather Your Feeding Supplies
Have any items you regularly use nearby, such as:Your breast pump (if pumping)
Bottles or nipple shields
A nursing pillow or burp cloth
Any supplements or feeding tools you've been using
4. Complete Your Intake Form
Be sure to fill out your intake form before your consult. It helps me learn about your feeding goals, history, and any current challenges so we can make the most of our time together.5. Prepare Your Questions
Jot down any concerns or questions you want to be sure we cover—big or small. This is your time, and I want you to leave feeling confident and supported.6. Tech Check
You’ll receive a Zoom link before your consult. Make sure your device is charged and your camera and microphone are working so we can see and hear each other clearly.7. Video Submissions (Optional but Highly Helpful!)
If you won’t have someone available to assist with the camera during the call—or if baby is sleepy or uncooperative—I may request a few short video clips ahead of our session. These can include:Baby latching and feeding at breast or bottle
Pumping sessions (if applicable)
Your baby’s mouth for a basic visual oral assessment (lip, tongue, palate mobility)
General positioning and body movement during feeding
These videos give me a more complete view of what's going on and help me better support you, especially when live observation might be limited.

Yes—virtual baby feeding consults can be highly effective, offering expert guidance, personalized support, and real-time troubleshooting from the comfort of your home. Whether you're navigating breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combo feeding, or weaning, virtual consults are a powerful option—especially during those early, often overwhelming days.
Through video, I can assess:
Latch and positioning
Pumping technique and setup
Bottle feeding and pacing
Oral anatomy and function
Feeding behavior and cues
Supply concerns, oversupply, or weaning
What about limitations?
It’s true—some in-person tools like weighted feeds (weighing baby before and after a feed to measure milk intake) can’t be done virtually unless you have access to a high-precision baby scale at home. However, we can often estimate milk transfer through:Diaper output
Feeding behavior and duration
Baby’s weight trends (with pediatric records)
Pump output (if applicable)
Your personal observations and symptoms
If more detailed measurements are ever needed, I’ll help guide you toward trusted local resources or collaborate with your pediatrician or in-person IBCLC when appropriate.
The advantage of virtual?
You’re in your natural feeding environment, where challenges typically occur. You don’t need to pack a bag, travel with your baby, or delay support. You also get continued messaging support between follow-ups, so you’re never left wondering what to do next.Virtual consults are flexible, effective, and judgment-free—and can make a big difference in your feeding journey.

Each infant feeding consult lasts approximately 45 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to discuss your concerns, observe feeding (if baby is ready), and create a plan that works for you and your baby.
After your session, you’ll also have access to secure messaging support between follow-ups—so you can ask questions, share updates, and continue getting guidance without waiting for your next consult.
You’re never left guessing—you’ll have real-time support as you move through your feeding journey.
-
While messaging support is incredibly helpful, it works best as a follow-up to a full video consult—not a replacement.
Here’s why:
A video breastfeeding consult allows me to see what’s happening in real time—like your baby’s latch, positioning, feeding behavior, and how your body is responding. These visual details are essential for spotting things that may be missed through messaging alone, such as:
Shallow latch or ineffective milk transfer
Tension in baby’s body or mouth
Positioning tweaks that could improve comfort and efficiency
Pumping setup and technique
Feeding cues that are hard to describe in writing
Without that visual insight, it’s easy to miss key information—and you might end up feeling even more frustrated or confused.
Messaging support is most effective between consults, once we’ve already done a full assessment and created a plan. It gives you a direct line to me for quick questions, updates, and encouragement as you implement the strategies we discussed.
So yes—you’ll have access to messaging support! But starting with a video consult ensures you get the most accurate, effective, and personalized guidance possible right from the start.

Yes—I offer support beyond lactation, including guidance on starting solids!
While breastfeeding and baby feeding are at the core of what I do, I also help families confidently navigate the transition to solid foods.
Here’s how I can support you with solids:
Knowing when baby is ready to start solids
Understanding the difference between baby-led weaning and purées
Choosing first foods and introducing allergens
Setting up a feeding routine alongside milk feeds
Preventing mealtime stress and pressure
Managing gagging, refusal, or picky behavior
Ensuring baby is getting enough nutrients while still breastfeeding or bottle feeding
Whether you’re just starting solids or feeling unsure a few months in, I’ll help you feel informed, confident, and supported as your baby grows and feeding evolves.
